Artist Development

As a qualified practicing life coach and mentor, Louise regularly supports a range of artists in developing their practice, artistic visions and business development. This includes exploring values and ethics and place in the arts ecology, identifying goals, business development strategies, profile raising, fundraising and access support.

She has been fundamental in supporting many artists to develop their practice, and has also been a mentor for Mercury Theatre for more than 4 years working on their Mercury Creatives programme supporting artists in the Sussex area. In 2026 Louise launched Create & Connect a leadership development programme for disabled artists living in the East Midlands.

Louise works with artists on their Arts Council England applications to support their ambitions and projects to become a reality. This includes working as an Access Support Worker for disabled artists. Applications include Developing Your Creative Practice, and National Lottery Project Grants.
