11 Million Reasons to Dance

11 Million Reasons to Dance is a photography exhibition, film programme and participation programme commissioned by People Dancing and conceptualised in 2014. The programme aimed to change perceptions and positively profile Deaf, sight impaired, neurodivergent and disabled people who dance.
The work toured across the UK and internationally from 2014 - 2021. The exhibition by photographer Sean Goldthorpe toured to over 60 locations including Macau, Singapore, Helsinki, Barcelona with over 1 million people experiencing the work. There was a short film programme that also accompanied the work. The work toured the UK and had a new programme specific to Wales in 2021.
Louise was Executive Producer on this large scale touring exhibition and film project. Louise also was the art director on set and conceptualised and curated the making of the work whilst at People Dancing.

11 Million Reasons to Dance: Cymru
In 2019 - 2021 the 11 Million Reasons to Dance Cymru project took place working with multi agency partners across Wales. The aim of the project was to support disabled dancers to have better support to progress into the dance industry and change perceptions that exist around disabled people who dance.
The work included the creation of a new Welsh exhibition working with New York Times published and internationally renowned photographer Philip Hatcher-Moore
